The key objective of the Audit Faculty is to provide practical technical advice and support to members.
The faculty:
- Reviews issues and liaises with the relevant authorities in relation to matters affecting audits and auditors in Gibraltar
- Considers how changes in legislation, auditing and accounting standards affect auditing and reporting in Gibraltar and advises the membership accordingly
- Organises training for the membership on audit matters
- Promotes good practice in this area
